We would like to share the successful installation of Wingel Magnetic Level Gauge model MLG and Level Transmitter model LTS on the FOREL FPSO Time Charter which belonged to the consortium of Medco E&P and Hanochem. The scope of the project is Provision of Water Treatment, Seal Fuel Gas and its Chemical Injection Package. The challenge is that the technical specification of the level gauge and the level transmitter is quiet high. The supplied Level Transmitter has to be SIL2 Certified and also must have an enclosure of SS316 (due to its exposure of sea environment) and has a ATEX Exd Certified. Although the specification is demanding, we managed to deliver it within the scheduled time scope. Currently the ship has sailed and after the system integration the instrument can works perfectly as expected.
