Pressure Transmitter is an instrument to effectively measure a pressure of liquid or gases. Unlike pressure gauge, its mechanical counterpart, which only able to display measured pressure. Pressure transmitter, as its name indicates can also transmit the acquired pressure data to panel or designated control system with the means of analog signal 4-20mA.
The pressure from the measured media acts as a force to pressure transmitter’s diaphgram, thus the measurement value can be obtained from the applied pressure. The next step is the sensor converts the pressure value into an electrical signal and the receiving end will read and display the value accordingly.
